Balayage is the latest addition to the Pascuali family. A beautiful, soft and accomplished yarn made in collaboration with designer Melanie Berg, known as Mairlynd. A perfect blend of 80% baby alpaca and 20% organic merino wool. Balayage is produced with respect and care for the environment, animals and people (you can read more here.)
Because of the composition and the colors, Balayage is great for shawls and scarves, but can also be used for sweaters, cardigans, etc. The fine stitch definition makes it ideal for lace patterns, cable knits and multicolor knitting.
The unique thing about Balayage is the color palette. Each color has a hint of a mottled grey shade, which is achieved by blending 80% white and grey baby alpaca with 20% white organic merino wool. This particular blend provides a unique gradiant that ultimately results in a harmonious color palette with endless possibilities.
All the colors of the Balayage are inspired by the many beautiful colors found in Peru and are therefore named after places in Peru. It can sometimes be difficult to see the right color on the screen, as it can depend on the age of the phone or computer, etc. If you are in doubt whether the color is the right one, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will help you the best we can.
