Camel DK by Pascuali is an extraordinary soft, luxuroius and unique yarn, derived from the undercoat of the iconic two-humped Bactrian camels found across the Alashan region of Inner Mongolia. Here, the temperature can go as low as -30 degrees celcius during the winter and as high as 50 degrees celcius during the summer. Due to their undercoat, the camels have adopted to this environment and changes in temperature.

Besides being thermoregulating, the undercoat has a special softness and fineness making it even more perfect for the Camel DK yarn. The undercoat is also know as Baby Camel Yarn.

Because it is a chained yarn, Camel DK is lightweight, soft and stretcy at the same time. Garments knit with it allow free body movement yet return to their original shape making them resistant to wrinkling and sagging.

And because of the chains and how they’re locked in, it hardly pills And as a little extra advantage, it is 100% biodegradable.
