Madara by Noro is an amazing beautiful yarn with a perfect blend of wool, silk and alpaca is united with the designs and colours that Noro is so well-known for. The colours are intense and very, very beautiful.

Madara means uneven in japanese. Every quality of yarn by Noro has a name with a special meaning, that characterises the quality. Madara by Noro has an uneven blend of fibres and coulours that provides it with a unique and amazing beautiful appearance and touch.

Madara is made in the same gentle way as every other yarn by Noro, a proces that keeps the natural fibres in the yarn. All animals fibers used to create Noro yarns come from certified organic farms, with handcraft and minimal machine handling.

Noro yarn has a special history and the founder Eisaku Noro does not compromize with quality and finds inspiration in the untouched and unspoiled nature of Japan. Composition: 60% wool, 30% silk and 10% alpaca.

Metreage: approx 200 m pr. 100 g

Knitting gauge: 10×10 cm = 15-17 sts x 22-24 rows

Needle size: 4,5-5 mm.

For a pullover in size M (for women) you need approximate 5.600 g / 5-6 skeins.
