How to use the counting stitch marker:
Put the first ring on when starting the round. After having knitted a round, change to ring number 2 and continue like this until you make it to the round when you have to (in)crease.

Like this you can always see how far you have gotton in your knitting project and you don’t need to remember how many rounds you have knitted or paper and pen.
